Kaiser-Frazer Service
Kaiser-Frazer Service
Product Details
Kaiser-Frazer was formed by shipbuilding magnate Henry J. Kaiser and Graham-Paige executive Joe Frazer. With a pile of money from building ships for the government during the war, the new company quickly put out striking new cars for 1946 while the cars from established manufacturers were warmed-over versions of the prewar models. Kaisers and Frazers sold well for a couple of years, but Kaisers' pile was no match for Detroit's deep pockets, and by 1949 the other makes were quickly pulling ahead. The last Frazers were built in 1951, and in 1955 Kaiser produced its last U.S. built cars. Production continued in Argentina for another seven years.
